The Town of Oakville has been creating great activities for families since the inception of Family Day in Ontario back in 2008.

Free Swimming, Skating and other activities available at the following Town run facilities:

• Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, Youth Centre and Older Adults Centre
• Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Library, and Older Adults Centre
• Sixteen Mile Sports Complex
• Joshua’s Creek Arenas
• Maple Grove Arena
• Oakville Museum

Don’t forget to make a stop at Monaghan’s Sports Pub and Grill for some amazing family day food options.  Such as big portion soups and sandwiches, our home-made pizzas and pastas,  and don’t forget our world famous wings!

Toyland Puppets with a Touch of Magic
Meet Rudy the Clown puppet and his friends, but be sure to be on the lookout for a gorilla that has escaped from the zoo! Appropriate for ages 3 to 10, Toyland Puppets is a high energy show that involves the audience throughout.
Tickets are free and can be picked up at the entrance of the Black Box Theatre one hour before the start of each performance. Maximum of five tickets per person. Spaces are limited. Pick up your tickets early to avoid disappointment. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Oakville Blades vs. Georgetown Raiders
Cheer on the Oakville Blades as they play the Georgetown Raiders! Admission to the game is FREE. However wristbands are required and will be available starting at 9 a.m. in the Upper Concourse outside Rink 1. Maximum of five wristbands per person. First-come, first-served. General admission seating.
